Description:
Perched above Covina as part of a 392 AC hillside cemetery, this 3.4 AC premium burial garden brings a new and fresh approach to current day cemetery design. The water-centric garden respects various traditional burial preferences from diverse cultures found in Southern California. The water gardens include 60,000 s.f. of lakes and streams with 7 waterfalls, on 5 major terraces retained by large 8-12’ rock retaining walls. A variety of burial plot types are located to take visual advantage of the garden’s water features and elements. A temple structure provides for outdoor dedication ceremonies, while pedestrian bridges, pilasters and carved stone benches, provide interest as they weave through the lush meadow.
